| Glitter Queen Join Date: Dec 2017 Posts: 10 Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts | In the summer of 2019 I attended the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo and noticed several women who had a large rolling scrapbook bag. The top telescoped up and it came in several different patterns. For the life of me I can't remember who made it. Anyone know what I am talking about? |

(and I think the bags I have and have had in the past are all no longer made but,) its possible you could find something click the purple words to see it, and hopefully that works. ( the formatting has been slightly wonky lately) |

I got really frustrated looking for suitable cases that would transport my stuff when crafting away from home. This thing fits EVERYTHING. And if I don't want to take quite as much I can remove the middle section. When it's very full, it's quite heavy but not so much that I couldn't lift it. So, if you don't find something close to what you are looking for then consider this __________________ |

It's got so many compartments and it's on 360 wheels. It's not one I would take to a crop unless you had someone to lift it for you. It has the capacity to get in a lot of stuff in it making it heavy to lift. The zippered front can be opened to draped or attach to the pull up handle. It's sturdy enough to house a Gemini or Gemini Jr and the foilpress on bottom of cart. Hope this helps. |

| Glitter Queen Join Date: Dec 2017 Posts: 10 Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts | I am now looking at something like this. Anyone else using one like this? I like that it can be taken apart into 3 pieces so it isn't so heavy for me to lift into my car. I also like that everything I take to a crop can stay in it at the crop and still be at my fingertips. Anything you can think of as a drawback? |

Oregon | that probably depends on you, what I found when I did such things was, I could pack everything. and pre-plan say layout pages for scrapbooks or what not and have all the tools I thought I would need. and I never used them, ever I when I am with people I end up either explaining how to do something or chatting. and if I partially color an image its a win. So, if you really will use all those tools and such while gone a bag that divides into pieces sounds like a smart thing for lifting and hauling. |

I ended up giving it away. Now when I go out, I use three bags: 1) an open top carry-all (there are lots of these but I prefer mine, 2) this Karen Foster bag (don't know if they still make this, but it is AMAZING how much it holds), and 3) if I need it, another open top bag. There are lots of good choices out there, some practical and some not. |

This is giving me PTSD from the late 1900s - when we used to do SU workshops we all had beastly huge totes like this for some reason - it was just a fad and it was awful hahah. |

I realize that this is not perfect for most people but for me it is exactly what I wanted. It checks off all of the boxes of what I was looking for to transport what I need for a multi-day crop and to be able to leave most of it in the unit. It comes apart into 3 pieces. I will need to unpack the bottom section as it is not readily accessed when the top 2 sections are in place. But the drawers and the top section can stay packed for those times when a large table is not provided at the facility. |

This is the Karen Foster one, but it doesn't show all the compartments, etc.
This is my vital grab bag. Holds a lot, too.
